Everything you need to know about creating a BlockWyre account, logging in, banking, payments, digital wallets, and getting support — organized so you can find your answer in seconds.

A quick orientation before you apply — what BlockWyre does and whether it's the right fit for your business.
What is BlockWyre?
BlockWyre is an AI-driven financial infrastructure platform providing banking (FBO accounts), payment processing, digital asset custody, card issuing, and stablecoin/crypto on- and off-ramp services to businesses through a single API and dashboard.
Who is BlockWyre for?
Fintechs, payment processors, remittance companies, digital asset exchanges, e-commerce/marketplace platforms, and enterprises that need compliant banking, payments, or crypto infrastructure without building and licensing it themselves.
What do I need before I apply?
Have your business formation documents, a description of your product/use case, and your expected transaction volumes ready — this speeds up the application and review process. See Creating Your Account for the full document checklist.
BlockWyre is a regulated financial infrastructure provider, so every new business goes through a compliance (KYB/KYC) review before an account is activated. Here's exactly what to expect.
01 Go to the Get in Touch page, or your BlockWyre representative’s onboarding link, and complete the application form.
02 You’ll be routed to BlockWyre’s secure onboarding portal to submit your business documentation (see checklist below).
03 BlockWyre’s compliance team reviews your application and documents.
04 If any information is missing or needs clarification, you’ll be contacted directly — respond promptly to avoid delays.
05 Once approved, you’ll receive an email confirmation with instructions to set up your dashboard login (see Logging In & Account Access).
Note: All onboarding documents must be submitted through BlockWyre’s official onboarding portal only. Never send sensitive documents (IDs, bank details, tax IDs) by email or chat — BlockWyre will never ask you to.
What documents do I need to apply? (KYB/KYC checklist)
Requirements vary by business type and risk profile, but most applications need:
How long does approval take?
Review timelines depend on your risk profile and how quickly requested documents are provided — straightforward applications move faster; applications requiring enhanced due diligence take longer. Your BlockWyre contact can give you a status update at any time.
My application was declined or paused — what now?
You’ll receive an explanation of what’s missing or what needs to be resolved. Many “pending” applications simply need additional documentation — respond to the compliance team’s request directly to move forward.
Can I have multiple people from my company involved in onboarding?
Yes — list all relevant control persons/signers on your application. Once your account is active, you can invite teammates to your dashboard (see Logging In & Account Access).
Once your account is approved, all account activity — balances, transactions, wallets, cards — is managed through your BlockWyre dashboard.
01 Open the account-activation email from BlockWyre and click the link to set your password.
02 Choose a strong, unique password and confirm it.
03 Go to dashboard.blockwyre.com and log in with your email and new password.
04 If two-factor authentication (2FA) is required on your account, follow the prompts to set it up using an authenticator app.
05 You’ll land on your dashboard home, showing your account balances, recent transactions, and quick links to wallets, cards, and payments.
Where do I log in?
All BlockWyre account activity is managed at dashboard.blockwyre.com. Bookmark this — it’s different from the main blockwyre.com marketing site.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
How do I set up or reset two-factor authentication (2FA)?
From your dashboard, go to Account Settings → Security to enable or reset 2FA. If you’re locked out because you lost access to your authenticator app, contact support to verify your identity and regain access — see Troubleshooting & Contact Support.
Can I add teammates to my BlockWyre account?
Yes. From Admin Access → Create Admin and Add Users, an account admin can invite additional users and assign permission levels (e.g. view-only vs. full transaction access).
My account is locked or I can't log in — what do I do?
Accounts may be temporarily locked after repeated failed login attempts, or for security/compliance review. Contact support with your account email so we can verify your identity and restore access — see Troubleshooting & Contact Support.
Is my login and account data secure?
Yes — BlockWyre uses encryption in transit and at rest, and access to sensitive account functions is protected by authentication controls. See Compliance & Security for more detail.
BlockWyre's banking infrastructure is built on FBO ("For Benefit Of") accounts with per-client sub-ledgers, so your funds are segregated and reconciled.
What is an FBO account?
An FBO (“For Benefit Of”) account is a pooled bank account structure where your funds are held on your behalf, segregated at the ledger level from other clients’ funds, with daily reconciliation.
How do I fund my account?
Depending on your setup, you can fund your account via ACH, domestic/international wire, or SWIFT. Deposit instructions will appear when you click Banking in your dashboard.
How do I withdraw funds?
Initiate a withdrawal from Banking → Withdraw in your dashboard. Withdrawals are subject to your account’s standard compliance review and any applicable reserve policy.
What currencies are supported?
BlockWyre supports 30+ fiat currencies alongside supported digital assets — see Crypto & Stablecoins for the current list.
Move money between fiat and digital assets, and across borders, using BlockWyre's payment rails.
How do on/off-ramp transactions work?
On-ramp converts incoming fiat into supported digital assets; off-ramp converts digital assets back to fiat for payout. Both are available via API or the dashboard, and are subject to standard transaction monitoring.
What payment rails are supported?
ACH, domestic wire, international wire/SWIFT, and card processing (for approved merchant categories), alongside blockchain-based settlement for supported digital assets.
How long do transfers take?
Timing varies by rail — ACH and wire follow standard banking-network timelines; blockchain-based transfers depend on network conditions for the asset involved. Your dashboard shows real-time status for every transaction.
Why is my transaction pending or flagged for review?
Transactions may be held for standard compliance/AML screening, especially for new relationships, high-value transfers, or cross-border activity. This is a normal part of keeping the platform compliant and doesn’t necessarily indicate a problem with your transaction.
Issue virtual or physical debit cards to your own customers through BlockWyre's card program.
Can I issue cards to my customers?
Yes — BlockWyre’s card issuing product supports both virtual and physical debit cards for use cases like crypto purchases, e-commerce, and everyday spending.
How are cards funded?
Cards draw from the associated account balance (fiat or converted from digital assets, depending on your program configuration).
Do I need a separate agreement for card processing?
Yes — card issuing/processing requires its own card processing agreement in addition to your standard services agreement. Your BlockWyre representative can provide this during onboarding.
Create and manage digital asset wallets with enterprise-grade custody and security.
How are my digital assets custodied?
BlockWyre uses institutional-grade custody infrastructure with multi-party computation (MPC) key management and policy-based controls to secure digital assets.
Can I create multiple wallets?
Yes — you can generate and monitor multiple wallets from your dashboard to organize funds by purpose, customer, or use case.
How do I monitor wallet activity?
Your dashboard provides real-time balance visibility and full transaction history for every wallet under your account.
BlockWyre supports a defined set of digital assets today, with more added on a roadmap basis.
Which cryptocurrencies are currently supported?
Currently supported for client activity: BTC, ETH, LTC, USDC, and USDT. Additional assets may be added over time — check with your BlockWyre representative for the current roadmap.
What is the "Travel Rule" and does it affect me?
The Travel Rule requires certain identifying information to travel with qualifying crypto transfers between platforms. BlockWyre handles this automatically on the backend for qualifying transactions — you generally don’t need to do anything extra, but your integration should pass accurate sender information via the API.
Does BlockWyre support stablecoin settlement?
Yes — BlockWyre offers stablecoin-powered cross-border settlement (USDC/USDT) for faster, lower-cost international transfers compared to legacy banking rails.
BlockWyre operates as a regulated financial infrastructure provider — here's what that means for you as a client.
Why do you need my business documents?
As a financial infrastructure provider, BlockWyre is required to verify the identity and legitimacy of every business it works with (KYB) and the individuals who control it (KYC), consistent with anti-money-laundering (AML) regulations.
Where do I upload sensitive documents?
Only through BlockWyre’s official onboarding portal. Never send identification numbers, passport numbers, or full bank account details by email or chat.
How is my data protected?
BlockWyre uses encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and maintains independent security/compliance program reviews as part of its operations.
Why was my transaction flagged or delayed?
Standard sanctions, fraud, and AML monitoring may hold a transaction for review. This is routine and not necessarily an indication of a problem — contact support if a hold seems to be taking longer than expected.
Build directly against BlockWyre's REST and WebSocket APIs.
Where is the API documentation?
Full API documentation is available at docs.blockwyre.com.
Is there a sandbox environment?
Yes — a sandbox environment is available for testing integrations before going live in production. Your BlockWyre technical contact can provide sandbox access and credentials.
How do I get API credentials?
API credentials are issued once your account is approved and your integration plan is confirmed during onboarding. Authentication uses bearer tokens.
How do webhooks work?
BlockWyre can send real-time event notifications (e.g. transaction status updates, KYC status changes) to your systems via signed webhooks. See the developer docs for setup and signature verification details.
Understand what you're charged and how invoicing works.
What does onboarding cost?
Onboarding and monthly fees depend on your service tier and agreement. Your BlockWyre representative will walk through applicable fees before you sign.
Is there a monthly minimum?
Enterprise agreements typically include a monthly minimum, detailed in your services agreement. Contact your account representative for your specific terms.
How am I billed?
You will receive an email invoice with a breakdown of your fees.
If self-service didn't solve it, here's how to reach a person.
How do I contact BlockWyre support?
For general inquiries, submit a request via the Get in Touch form or contact us directly at .
What information should I include when contacting support?
Your account email, a description of the issue, any relevant transaction ID(s), and screenshots if applicable — this speeds up resolution significantly.
How do I escalate an urgent issue?
For urgent account access, security, or transaction issues, email directly rather than submitting the general contact form. Mark your message as urgent with a one-line summary of the issue at the top.
